Graduate Students Place in NPC Branch Warren Classic

Congratulations to Crystal Flores and Minsoo Go, graduate assistants in Fitness & Wellness for Campus Recreation, for competing in the NPC Branch Warren Classic competition on Saturday, July 10, 2010.

Crystal placed second in Figure Class A and received national qualification. Lloyd Ligons and Daniel Hagerty trained Crystal for 12 weeks. In October, Crystal plans to compete in the Texas State Championships. In 2011, Crystal will compete for an IFBB Pro Card.

Minsoo placed fourth in Bikini Class A and received national qualification.

Ashtanga Yoga Intensive

An in-depth practice over alignment, breathing techniques, sun salutations,
transitions, jumping through, and jumping back, how to move deeper in forward bends, back bends, inversions and hand standing. Students will receive one-on-one assistance to help build a personal practice suitable for their needs. Perfect for a beginner or those who wish to move deeper into their practice.

When: Saturdays March 20th - May 1st
Time: 1:00-2:30pm in MPR C
Cost: $25

Learn how to teach your very own Yoga class. Great for those wishing to become an instructor or build a stronger home practice!
